“More doesn’t always equal more.” our formulators tell us. “Using more detergent than the instructions can create too many bubbles. This stops your clothes from rotating around the drum properly, meaning the detergent might not get to all the fabric thoroughly.”
Rule #1: always check the dosing instructions. These days a lot of detergents are concentrated – like our Bio Laundry Liquid – so you don’t automatically need a full cap.
Rule #2: hard water v soft water. Check detergent instructions for the correct dose for your type of water. It makes a difference.
Rule #3: Load ‘em up! Try to only wash a full load at a time to get the most bang for your buck in terms of energy, money and cleanliness.
