By entering this Competition (the “Competition”), you, (the “Participant”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

 

The Promoter reserves the right to change, adapt, terminate or cancel the Competition at any time without prior notice and without reasons.

 

The Promoter

 

The promoter of this Competition is Ecover (UK) Ltd, located at Frimley Green Road, Frimley, Camberley Surrey GU16 7AJ, for the brand “ECOVER” (the “Promoter”)

 

Eligibility

 

  1. The Competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom, aged 18 years or over.

 

  1. Employees of the Promoter, its subsidiaries, retailers, distributors, affiliates and its agent(s), advertising, promotion and production agencies and their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings and spouses of children or siblings) and household members are not eligible.

 

  1. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this Competition. although Participants will need to have access to iPhone or Android capabilities.

 

  1. The Competition is open from 12:00pm GMT on 25th June 2024 (“Start Date”) to 11:59pm GMT on 30th June 2024 (“Closing Date”). After this date, no further entries to the Competition will be permitted.

 

  1. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason, technical or otherwise.

Entry

 

  1. The requirements for participation in this Competition are as follows:

  1. The Promoter will make public any changes to the Competition on the entry notices, as soon as possible.

 

  1. Entries that are incomplete will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for lost, delayed or damaged data which occurs during any communication or transmission of data.

 

  1. The Promoter shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims including, without limitation, to require further verification as to the identity, age, and other relevant details of a participant.

 

  1. Entries must be made by the Participant and must not be made through agents or third parties.

 

  1. Only one Entry per email account may be made.

Prize

  1. The First Winner Drawn will win One (1) years supply of Ecover Laundry Capsules containing the following products: (the “Prize”)
  • Eight (8) ECOVER Bio Laundry Capsules
  • OR Eight (8) ECOVER Non-Bio Laundry Capsules.
  1. For the avoidance of doubt, there will be one (1) Prizes awarded to one (1) winner in total.

 

  1. The total retail value of the Prize is: £98.80 GBP. (a pack of 34 Laundry Capsules is £12.25). The “one years supply of Laundry Capsules” has been calculated by the following: UK households perform an estimated 260 wash cycles per annum based on data from the Office of National Statistics. 8 boxes of 34 Laundry Capsules will contain 272 wash cycles.   1. The Prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.

 

  1. The Prize is not transferable.

 

  1. Prizes are subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any Prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  1. The Promoter are not responsible for inaccurate Prize details supplied to any Participant by any third party connected with this Competition

Winner Selection

  1. There will be one (1) winners chosen with from the entries submitted through the form on this webpage only. The winner will receive one (1) Prize defined at 12 above.

 

  1. Winner will be chosen at random via software, from all entries received and verified by the Promoter’s agent. All decisions of the Promoter and/ or its agent are final and binding and are not subject to mediation or litigation of any kind.  The Promoter and its agent reserve the right to verify that the potential winner is eligible and qualified to receive a Prize and may revoke any Prize awarded or designated to a person found ineligible.

 

  1. The winner will be notified by email within three (3) business days of the closing date by the Promoter’s agent. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the Prize within three (3) days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the Prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner (via the Promoter’s agent). Potential winners may be required to demonstrate control of their email account. The Promoter is not responsible for any change of mailing address, email address, and/or telephone number of Participants. In the event of non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions, or if a Prize notification or Prize is unclaimed or returned as undeliverable, the Prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be contacted.

 

  1. The Prize shall be delivered to the winner by the Promoter within five (5) days of the winners’ receipt of notification of their win, provided that the winners have responded to the Promoter agent’s notification communication via email and claimed the Prize within three (3) days of such notification.
  2. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

Privacy and Data Protection

 

  1. The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied by Participants for the administration of the Competition and joining the newsletter and for no other purpose unless given consent.

 

  1. Other than as set out in these Terms and Conditions or for the purposes of operating the Competition, the details and information provided by the Participant when entering the Competition or claiming a Prize will not be used for any promotional purpose, nor shall they be passed on to any third party.

 

  1. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other participants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and the Promoter’s privacy policy at https://www.ecover.com/privacy-policy/

 

General

 

  1. The Promoter shall not be liable for any interruption to this Competition whether due to force majeure or other factors beyond the Promoter’s control.
  2. The Promoter reserves the right, acting reasonably and in accordance with all relevant legislation and codes of practice, to vary the terms and conditions of this Competition.
  3. The Promoter will not be responsible or liable for: (a) any failure to receive Entries due to transmission failures and other conditions beyond its reasonable control; (b) any late, lost, misrouted, or damaged transmissions or entries; (c) any computer or communications-related malfunctions or failures; (d) any disruptions, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of the Promoter; or (e) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Competition.
  4. By entering the Competition, the Participant agrees to release the Promoter from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Competition or with the acceptance, possession, attendance at or use of any Prize (except death or personal injury caused by the Promoter’s negligence, for fraud, or otherwise as prohibited by law).
  5. This Competition and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Competition.
